Lawyers are often mean and greedy, looking for whatever chance they can get to take someone’s money and make part of it their own and the rest of it the property of someone who already is rich enough on their own merit. If you have a lawyer on your back, or plan on having one in the future, then it should come as no surprise that one of the more appealing options is to put your assets offshore where it is harder to reach. Lawyers are not patient and run on money, if you know how to deal with them you will be fine. Now while lawyers may seem like they are easy to deal with from the last sentence above, they really are not. The truth is that you should never, never have to scramble to get rid of evidence or hide assets before a lawyer can find them. They are smart and work hard for their money, they will find little flaws you failed to overlook. The best thing to do, therefore, is to be smart and keep all of your assets unknown from the beginning. Even if you don’t have anyone on your back now, where is the harm in preparing for possible future dilemmas? Most lawyers will do background research and know everything about you before you even know there is a case against you. You aren’t going to be immediately alerted when one of your enemies, if you have any, goes to a lawyer asking to sue you. If they notice you have a certain amount of assets before a trial and then less during the trial, they will know something is fishy. And if they can prove that a large number of your assets just disappeared with you in a trip to Panama, the judge will be very suspicious of your actions as well. While Panama’s fantastic legal system will certainly still help you repel these attacks, why risk it? The best defense is to not give the other side anything to work with, and preparing beforehand will do wonders for your future. In addition, make sure you have your own, reliable lawyer who will keep all your secrets, and if you can’t trust him then make him sign a document, to help you out. Even with all of Panama’s options with corporations where there is no public owner and foundations where there is no owner period, there are still no guarantees in life. You have to take the first step and you have to make sure your name stays out of the dirt your enemies would put it in. So let us know you need help and we will get your assets protected as soon as possible.
