Is there any minimum capital required to incorporate a Company in Panama? Print E-mail
Yes & No.  The minimum captial requirement is $10,000 but it does NOT need to be funded so in reality  there is no minimum capital requirement to incorporate a company in Panama. However, most banks in Panama require an initial deposit of $1000 ( or 3000 euros for a euro account).  The initial deposit should be in cash form if you plan to travel to Panama in person and personally open a bank account.  Otherwise, you will have to wait for the check to clear before the bank will open your account.  If you will not be travelling to Panama to open account, you can wire your initial deposit directly to your bank account once your account has been approved.  You have have approx. 3 months to do this before the bank will put your account on hold.  In rare circumstances we will accept a small initial deposit check to deposit into your account in your behalf.  Under no circumstances will we make further deposits into your account after the initial.
