Just 1 minute away, there is a large park, well maintained, with large paved walk ways that interconnect, a favorite for those who like an early morning jog or walk.  The park also has a large area sectioned off by a fence (to keep dog walkers out, but always available), where there are over 16 play structures for kids of all ages, including elaborate monkey bars, hanging bridges on chains, carousel, etc.

There are so many shops within walking distance you don't even need a car.  There are several banks, restaurants, department stores, hair salons, bakeries, dry cleaning, movie rentals, fitness clubs, drug stores, etc.

Within 5 minutes walk is a large 24 hour grocery store.  Next door is a bakery, with specialty coffees, assorted pastries and gourmet sandwiches.  In the same plaza, there are many shops including a state of the art fitness club, outdoor sushi restaurant. 

Also with a 5 minute walk is "Novey's", a large store with everything, similar to walmart.  If that isn't enough, just across the street is Multi-Centro mall.  A 4 level mall, complete with large department stores, a casino, paint ball, movie theatre (movies shown with spanish subtitles).  Also worth mentioning, is a large movie theatre right beside the mall, right on the ocean, called "Extreme Planet".  They are a VIP movie theatre.  Each person gets a large leather lazy boy, that reclines fully for optimum movie watching!  If that wasn't enough, forget about popcorn, waitresses bring you all types of food, right to your seat!  Your food selection includes anything from chicken wings, the most amazing chicken quesadillas I have ever eaten with sides of guacamole, sour cream, and freshly made salsa, sushi, steak, pizza, etc.

From your balcony, you can see the causeway, built with the rocks excavated during the building of the Panama Canal.  It connects the mainland with 3 volcanic islands, that host several marinas, and many restaurants.  Enjoy a romantic dinner on one of the these tropical islands, right on the water, watching the  yachts come in from a day on the ocean.
