Is Panama a third world country? |

Having lived most of my life in Canada, visited countries like Haiti, Africa, Dominican Republic, and Mexico, I have a fairly good perspective of Panama. I consider countries like Haiti, Africa, and the Dominican Republic to be true 3rd world countries. Mexico is somewhere between 2nd and 3rd world. Panama is most definitely a 2nd world country. Panama has become safe, financially stable and corruption is very limited. For this reason it is generally considered 2nd world.
