Panama Beaches 

You have two oceans to visit.  The hardest decision you will make is which ocean will I visit today?  Both oceans are less than 2 hours drive away. The Caribbean is absolutely stunning, with white sandy beaches, natural coconut trees and an unspoiled coast line.

Panama is home to some of the best sport fishing on the planet including, but not limited to:

Marlin, Amberjack, Bigeye Tuna, Roosterfish/Papagallo, Snapper, Yellowfin Tuna, Bluefin Trevally, Grouper, Wahoo, Dolphin/Dorado, Pacific Sailfish, Tarpon / Bonefishing

Gamboa Rain Forest

The rain forest is definitely a worthwhile experience teaming with wildlife, but you will find there is only one resort and they know it.  The main hotel is nice but the "cabins" are old army barracks that are musty.  If you visit this resort, be prepared to pay a little more, and make sure you stay in the main hotel building.  It is a worthwhile upgrade.

El Valle - The Mountains of Panama

This is a famous city in the mountains of Panama, well known for its cooler weather, and unique features because it is a city inside the crater of a volcano!  You can take swim in the hot springs, with hot water bubbling up from the molten lava below. This region is also known for its wildlife, like the 3 toed sloth and the poisonous yellow tree frog.  One of the best ways to enjoy the wildlife in the forest canopy is by zip-lining pictured below:
