There are no exchange controls in the Caymans, which allows for the free movement of money into the islands as well as out of the Cayman Islands. Convertibility of all currencies is also free.

The Cayman Dollar is coupled with the United States Dollar at CI$1.00 to US$1.20, which is freely convertible as all other currencies.
